On Saturday the 15th of June the Club had it Open Day at the Harvey Commonage (Harvey Motor Sports Association) ground located 6km north of Harvey on South West Hwy.
It was a successful event with 11 visitors signing up on the day. Over 40 people with families in attendance. First to sign was a visitor in a Toyota!
The day started at 10am with the first group of visitors just after then. They were greeted by members of the club who explained the activities of the club and the smell of a sausage sizzle.
During the day visitors were treated to displays of club members completing the various challenges at the grounds. Visitors had the option to be passengers in club member’s cars for a firsthand view of facilities and grounds. It was good to see many members from other clubs in attendance.
The driving activities wound down around about 3pm but that didn’t stop people having a social time, talking 4wd with a drink or two.
Many members camped the night at the grounds.
Special thanks from the President, Shaun Tomlinson to all members who helped on the day.
We look forward to seeing all at the next 4wd Muster in September.
