Saturday the 1st of October we all met at Shell service station in Wanneroo at 8am. Due to the bad weather, we had a quick drivers meeting and decided to go to Wilbinga for the day. We left the servo at 8.25am and reached Wilbinga where we aired out and headed towards the beach. Frank led the convoy for his first time. Just before reaching the beach, some of the boys decided to have a little play inside the dunes.Gary helped Josh put his tyre back on his rim as it has come off his rim whilst playing in the dunes. Once we reached the beach, we headed south for approx 2kms and then headed back inland where Alyshia and Shaun had taken the lead and had brought us to four hills with decent ruts and we all had a good hour play there. Josh in his patrol had several attempts and finally made it up there. Christain went backwards up the hill and completed it first time. Frank thought he could do that in his XJ Jeep and completed it first time also, which he was quiet ecstatic about. From there, Alyshia took us from the tracks out to Millitary road where we aired up.
I would like to welcome Mike to the club as it was his first run with us yesterday.
It was an excellent run to Wilbinga yesterday and I hope to see everyone next time.
