Jeep owners club of WA (Inc)
The Jeep Owners Club of WA was formed in 1994 to cater for the growing number of Jeep owners that wanted to learn more about their vehicles and enjoy 4WD events with like minded people. Our club is a busy, proactive club with many enthusiastic members from all age groups and many Jeep models are represented.
New members are made very welcome and are encouraged to join in the regular club activities, trips, driver training and social events. All Jeep models are catered for, from early Willys MBs to the very latest JK Wranglers, Cherokee and Grand Cherokees.
You do not have to own a Jeep to be a member of our club as we also cater for owners of other models of 4WD vehicles. If you own a 4WD, come and say hello and join us on a trip!
There is usually at least one off-road event during each month and these events range from purely social gatherings to trips with moderate challenges right through to very challenging outings. Depending on the time of year, the club will travel to the likes of the Julimar forest, Cervantes, Preston Beach, Dwellingup and not to forget the club favorites of Lancelin and Harvey. These areas cater for all types of driver levels and track conditions from forest to scrub, beach to mud!

Harvey motor sports
The Jeep Owners Club has a venue designed to enhance the skill of the driver, this venue is 6 kms north of Harvey on the South West Highway. The Jeep Club leases the land from the Shire of Harvey; the land is approximately 19 hectares. We have designed and built several obstacle courses to bring out the skills of the driver in control of his vehicle. The courses are designed to make the driver concentrate on what he is doing but doesn’t damage his vehicle.
The courses we have are;
Jeepkhana course, obstacle course, balance bridge, logwalk and ramp are easy
Tank trap, rubicon, tyre hill, slippery slide are the hard ones that challenge you.
The Harvey Motor Sports Ass. (known by all as the commonage) has structures which club members have built over the years. There is a modern kitchen, toilets, meeting area, showers, and storage containers. As we have a lease we are allowed to camp on site which is a bonus for members for socializing at the end of the day.
Membership to the Jeep Owners Club of WA is a great way to meet fellow Jeep and 4WD enthusiasts and enjoy the experience of getting out in your 4WD in a fun and safe environment.
